The Elizabethtown Parks & Recreation Department encompasses 10 neighborhood and community parks totaling 650 acres. The department strives to provide safe and quality leisure opportunities to its citizens through dedicated staff and sound management.
Cost to play is $1/person. A schedule will be posted each Friday for the following week. Please note that open gym times are subject to change. Players are encouraged to bring their own basketballs; however, an ID can be exchanged to rent a basketball from our facility.

Yes, a City Permit and valid KY State Fishing License are required to fish at Freeman Lake. City Permits can be purchased on a daily or annual basis at the Freeman Lake Park Office. For fishing information, visit the Freeman Lake Park page.
