The Utilities Department is responsible for invoicing customers for City gas services and collecting the related payments. In order to receive service, we ask that you bring a picture ID to the utilities office on the first floor of City Hall. There are several ways to pay your utility bill, including setting up automatic bank withdrawal, paying at the utility office or paying online.
- Pay your bills online using Visa, MasterCard, & Discover ($2.00 transaction fee applies)
- Set up Electronic Bills - No more paper billing!
- View your history of usage, payments and invoices
Other Utility Information
Residential Deposit: $100
Commercial Deposit: $100
Reconnect Fee: $50 or $75
Return Check Fee: $50
All deposits stay on file. Once service is terminated the deposit is applied to the final bill.
Meters are read and billed monthly to the address listed on file. Bills are due and payable by the due date printed at the top of the bill. If bills are not paid within ten days, services may be terminated without further notice. Failure to receive a bill in the mail is not a valid reason for nonpayment. Please call our office to obtain a copy of your bill, or sign up for a free online account for 24 hour access to your account information. If you have been disconnected for nonpayment and choose to pay your balance due online, you must contact our office so we may do a service request for reconnection.
If your service has been disconnected for nonpayment, the City has up to seventy-two (72) business hours to reconnect service once payment of any balance due and related reconnection fees has been received by our office.
To discontinue service, 24-hour notice must be given to the Utilities Department. Otherwise, the customer will remain liable for all services used until the notification is given.
