Elizabethtown's Pritchard Community Center is headquarters for the City of Elizabethtown's Parks and Recreation Department and serves as a main focal point in the community for gatherings and various recreational activities. The community center is surrounded by a half-mile trail of a beautiful Arboretum and Botanical Garden.
Sports & Recreation
The Pritchard Community Center offers a variety of sports and recreational activities.
Basketball: $1 per person
Racquetball: $5/court/hour
Racquet Rental: $1 each
Tennis (Indoor Court): $35 for 1.5 hours (seasonal)
Arboretum & Botanical Garden
The Arboretum and Botanical Gardens at Pritchard Community Center offer visitors the opportunity to view garden styles, techniques and popular plants from today and from years past. It is a place where one can enjoy a variety of native and specimen trees and shrubs along the banks of Valley Creek. Perennial and annual flower beds are located throughout the gardens providing color from late winter until frost. The flowering plants have been selected to attract bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Agastache to zinnias found here make it Elizabethtown most beautiful public garden. Bring your camera to catch all the beauty.
Groups can schedule a tour and pick up a map of the garden and trails at the Pritchard Community Center.
Room Rentals
Rooms at Pritchard Community Center are used for a variety of occasions from wedding receptions and birthday parties to organization conventions/meetings. Pritchard Community Center has two multi-purpose gyms that are 62x86 feet and two meeting rooms that are 32x36 feet. Each room has access to a commercial kitchen and/or kitchenette.
Meeting Room capacity is 56 and Multi-Purpose Gym capacity is 240.
