Join us downtown this holiday season to take a stroll through the lights in Etown! The City Christmas tree will be all a glow beginning November 28th! Stop in to one of our downtown businesses to shop for that special someone, grab a bite to eat, or get a drink to celebrate Christmas 2020!
Due to Covid restrictions and Governor’s recommendations, instead of a Christmas parade in downtown, Santa will be riding a fire truck through multiple City of Elizabethtown neighborhoods. The route and time frames will be released in the upcoming weeks but kids should be ready for Santa’s arrival on December 5th.
The traditional reading of Twas’ the Night Before Christmas by Mayor Gregory and the story of Jesus’ birth will be aired on local radio stations. More information on specific dates and times for all will be released as soon as possible.
TROLLEY EXPRESS DECEMBER 4th-5th, 11th-12th, and 18th-19th
Tickets for the Trolley Express went on sale Friday, November 6th. Ticket holders get a chance to ride a trolley through Christmas in the Park, visit and photo op with Santa, receive a cookie and hot chocolate, and children activities such as writing Santa a letter. Tickets are $15 per person, 2 and under are free. Limited tickets still available here.
Due to Covid, everyone will be asked to wear masks while around others and abide by the six foot social distancing guidelines set forth by the Lincoln Trail Health Department and the Governor’s office.
