About the Program
Join us for Yoga in Parks, a serene blend of nature and yoga at Freeman Lake Park. Our free community classes, held in partnership with Karma Yoga and the City of Elizabethtown Parks & Recreation Department, welcome all experience levels, including beginners. From May to July, experience the tranquility of Sunrise Yoga, and from August to October, find inner peace with Sunset Yoga. Come flow with us amidst the beauty of the park. Sunrise Yoga Classes
Sunrise yoga classes will take place this summer May-July. Please note that all classes will take place at the Freeman Lake Park Bandstand and will start promptly at 6:00am. When entering the park please use the Blue Heron gate - Blue Heron Way Elizabethtown, KY 42701 - as this will be the only gate open. Park staff will have the Blue Heron gate open at 5:45 am for check-in. Parking will be available in the lot in front of the Bandstand. Preregistration is required.
Sunset Yoga Classes
Sunset yoga classes will take place this summer/fall August-October. Please note that all classes will take place at the Freeman Lake Park Bandstand and will start promptly at 6:00pm. When entering the park please use the Blue Heron gate - Blue Heron Way Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Parking will be available in the lot in front of the Bandstand. Preregistration is required.
Farmers Market Yoga Classes
Karma yoga is hosting FREE classes at the Hardin County Farmers Market this summer on Saturdays from 8:00 - 9:00 am on the following dates: 6/8, 7/13, and 8/10. Please bring your own mat and props, pre-registration is required.
