Join us at Freeman Lake Park on July 4th! There will be something for the whole family and the biggest fireworks show in E-town! It’s all free (except food and commercial vendors)! Bring your chairs, blankets and come out to enjoy July 4th with us.
Schedule:
9:00a-11:00a: Kid’s Fishing Derby, Rotary Pavilion. Ticketed event, purchase here!
5:00p: Parking begins, vendors open, free kid’s zone including swing attraction, bounce house for little ones, and water slides (for older kids), free kid’s train rides, decorate your bike tent, bike riding throughout park, and chalk drawing
6:00p: Shoney’s Watermelon Eating Contest (first come, first served, no registration and up to 25 people any age)
7:00p: Owensboro Orchestra on the Bandstand
