REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Elizabethtown, KY is soliciting proposals from qualified Architecture and Design Firms (“firm”) to provide Pre-Approved Housing sets to help reduce the soft costs of housing construction. Pre-Approved Housing plans are intended to streamline the permitting process and eliminate the need for individualized architectural review.
The project will involve the development of building plans for a number of different housing styles, including accessory dwelling unit structures. The firm will be expected to provide full plan sets to be reviewed and approved by the building official of the City of Elizabethtown. The scope of work should include plans for several housing types suitable for infill lots near the urban core.

Proposals will be due by December 19, 2025, by 3:00 PM EST, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
