The City of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, is seeking proposals from qualified financial institutions to provide comprehensive banking services. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to select a financial institution that will provide the City with secure, efficient, and cost-effective banking solutions, while also supporting our needs for investment earnings and fiduciary trust services.
The City maintains multiple accounts, including its General Fund, Sewer Fund, Natural Gas Fund, and several smaller funds. We require services that include, but are not limited to, ACH processing, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, fraud prevention tools, merchant services, and trust department support.
Enclosed you will find the City’s RFP, which includes:
- A detailed description of the services required.
- Specific information to be included in proposals.
- Disclosure requirements (Appendix A).
- A standardized fee schedule template (Appendix B).
All proposals must be submitted no later than 5:00 pm, Wednesday, December 31, 2025 to:

Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities, and select the proposal deemed most advantageous. The selected institution will be required to enter into a formal agreement with the City.
