SUMMARY:Code Enforcement Board
DESCRIPTION:The Code Enforcement Board supports the City’s program to protect\, promote and improve the health\, safety and welfare of the citizens residing in Elizabethtown. The board conducts hearings on the enforcement of a variety of City ordinances to gain and assuring that the enforcement of the ordinances by the City administrative staff is fair. The board may issue remedial orders and impose civil fines in order to provide an equitable\, expeditious\, effective and inexpensive method of code enforcement by the City. \nMeetings \nMeetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall. \nContact \nDepartment of Planning & Development\n270-765-6121
