ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Elizabethtown will receive sealed bids for the College Street Stormwater Modifications project at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3rd floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, P.O. Box 550, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702 until 10:00 AM local time on Wednesday, December 18th, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. Specifications and bid forms may be obtained from the Stormwater Department electronically (270-763-4218) or pick up a paper copy at the address listed above on November 22th, 2024. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit will be required for each paper set of bid documents. Electronic specifications will be provided at no charge.
All questions are due by December 6th, 2024, by 5:00 pm local time. Submit all questions in writing to Rita Davis (rita.davis@elizabethtownky.gov).
The scope of the project generally consists of, but not limited to, the installation of approximately 1,385 linear feet of storm system and 440 linear feet of drainage ditch stabilization downstream of the proposed storm system outlet. Included in this work are materials, delivery, mobilization, installation, inspection & testing, and associated finishing work to ensure connections to the pipe are functioning, all in accordance with the project specifications.
The City of Elizabethtown reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
