ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Elizabethtown will receive sealed bids for the Central Avenue Phase One Gas Main Replacement Project at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3rd floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, P. O. Box 550, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702 until 10:00 AM local time Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 9th at Public Works Administrative Building, 301 Water Works Drive, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42701. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. All bidders must provide a 5% bid bond as part of their bid. Electronic copy of plans, specifications, bid forms and certifications may be obtained from the Gas Department upon request; Attention Bill Walters, email@example.com.
The City of Elizabethtown will award the project to the lowest responsible bidder, however, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
