Funtopia Playground

Welcome to Funtopia, the heart of play in American Legion Park! Rebuilt and opened in 2021 to better cater to the community's growing needs, Funtopia is an all-inclusive playground where every child can join in the fun. Wheelchair and handicapped-accessible, it bridges the gap to accessible play for all. The playground has areas designed for both 2-5 year olds and 5-12 year olds, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for every age group. Dive into a world of excitement with slides, various swing options, interactive and sensory panels, and the thrilling Alta Glide Flex. Come and play – where inclusivity meets adventure!

 

Pickleball Courts

Discover the excitement of pickleball at American Legion Park's new courts! Opened in 2023, we offer 12 regulation courts for free play from 7 am to dusk. No need to worry about equipment – you can rent it from the golf shop in the park for free. Just exchange your driver's license and enjoy a fun and active game of pickleball!

American Legion Water Park

Dive into endless summer fun at the American Legion Waterpark, making a splash since 2016! Our main pool beckons with a refreshing deep end, two thrilling waterslides, and an engaging play structure. Drift along the lazy river or let the little ones cool off at the adjacent free splash pad. The waterpark season typically opens each year on Memorial Day Weekend and bids farewell when Elizabethtown Independent Schools resume.
