Notice is hereby given that the City of Elizabethtown will receive sealed bids for the Meadow Lane Phase 2 Street Improvements Project at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3rd floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, P. O. Box 550, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702 until 10:00 AM local time Wednesday, April 28th, 2021 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. All bidders must provide a 5% bid bond as part of their bid. Plans, specifications, bid forms and certifications may be obtained from the City’s Engineering Office located at City Hall, 2nd floor, beginning Monday, April 12th for a non-refundable fee of $25, or an electronic copy may be requested at no charge. Preference shall be given to Kentucky resident bidders and non-resident bidders from states which do not require preference to resident bidders.
The City of Elizabethtown will award the project to the lowest responsible bidder, however reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
