ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is hereby given that the City of Elizabethtown will receive sealed bids for the Indian Hills Sanitary Sewer Replacement project at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3rd floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, P.O. Box 550, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702 until 10:00 AM local time on Friday, February 21, 2020 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. Plans, specifications, and bid forms may be obtained from the City Clerk electronically (270-763-4202) or pick up a paper copy at the address listed above. Preference shall be given to Kentucky resident bidders and non-resident bidders from states which do not require preference to resident bidders. A $25.00 non-refundable deposit will be required for each paper set of plans and bid documents. Electronic plans and specifications will be provided at no charge.
The scope of the project generally consists of, but not limited to, providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, tools and supervision necessary to complete the installation of approximately 2800 LF of sanitary sewer main.
The City of Elizabethtown reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
