Notice is hereby given that the City of Elizabethtown will receive sealed bids for the Helm Street, Terry Court, Park Avenue Street Improvements project at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, 3rd floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, P.O. Box 550, Elizabethtown, Kentucky 42702 until 10:00 AM local time Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The successful bidder shall provide performance and payment bonds, proof of insurance and licenses as specified. All bidders must provide a 5% bid bond as part of their bid. An electronic copy of plans, specifications, bid forms and certifications may be obtained upon request from the City’s Engineering Office at 270-763-4218. Preference shall be given to Kentucky resident bidders and non-resident bidders from states which do not require preference to resident bidders.
A pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 AM local time, on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at the Engineering Office, City Hall, 2nd Floor, 200 West Dixie Avenue, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the meeting.
The City of Elizabethtown will award the project to the lowest responsible bidder, however, reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to let the contract as a whole or for any part, and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the bids received.
